Six-millimeter Confluent Vapor Barriers

Maybe a sealed crawlspace will not work for you or your budget. We can install a complete six-millimeter vapor barrier to limit the amount of ground moisture in the crawlspace. Vapor barriers are now required by building code. Even if your home was built before code required a vapor barrier, you still should have one installed. A vapor barrier will prevent moisture, mold, and add to the life of your wooden framing.

Mold Remediation

We also offer complete mold remediation services by highly qualified staff. Our staff are certified by the IICRC. The IICRC publishes the only ANSI approved Mold Remediation Standard. RCS staff have attended and been certified in a number of remediation classes including the IICRC AMRT (Advanced Microbial Remediation Technician). If you hire a firm that is not IICRC certified, you are exposing yourself to risk. AMRTs have the knowledge of the only ANSI approved Mold Remediation standard. Even the guidelines from EPA and OSHA are not ANSI approved; they are just guidelines and will not hold up if legal issues arise.

RCS has carries all applicable mold remediation insurance. All of our employees are fit tested and trained in the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  RCS’s owner was one of the first people in NC to be a certified mold remediator, and has been so ever since the certification process started in 2000.   Mold can be dangerous for both health and legal/liability issues.
